Defining The Narrative Essay.

Whats a narrative essay?

A narrative essay is a piece of writing that recreates an experience through time. The elements of a narrative essay are character ( show your character in action describe your character), setting( Imagine yourself in the place with your characters), a point of view(decide what person you want your narrative in), a dramatic situation(show events happening rather that saying what happen), and a shape action(how interesting your story could be).
People write narrative essays to express their own experiences, either past or present, or it can be based on the experiences of someone else. They also communicate a main idea or a lesson learned.
Narrative essays can be written in novel or essay form, a narrative piece of writing transports readers into the time and space of the world portrayed by the writing.
