Autobiography

I was born in Mexico; just a few months after my grandfather had died. When I was about one year old my mother immigrated to the United States in search of a better future and I had to stay with my grandmother. Two years later I also came to the United States to meet with my mother.

When I was five years old I was enrolled in kindergarten. They’re I met my first friend in America, Jose Galindo. After kindergarten I attended elementary school for three years. During those three years I learned how to speak and write English.

After three years of elementary school, I moved back with my grandmother to México. My grandmother was like my second mother. I attended school in México for three years. My first fights happened in that school that I was attending. Mexico was fun but I had to come back to America.
Once I was in the United States then I spent my

summer with my family and friends. I started going to junior high and met more friends. Sooner than I thought I was already attending high school. In high school most of my time was consumed by school work and my job.

I had a really hard experience my sophomore year, my grandma, a really important person in my life passed away. This experience got my mom into depression for a whole year which also affected me because it was hard seeing her go through a hard time.

Junior year things started to get better, and my mom started to recover from her depression. A couple of months after all of those difficult times, I got my license and it was great because finally I was going to start driving and have more freedom.
Soon my senior year came and it was the best year of my life. I had fun with all of my friends, we attended senior week, and went to senior night, and finally but not least prom. Then I graduated and now I am coming to Ventura College.

I plan to attend two years in Ventura College and then transfer to CSU Northridge or CSU Channel Islands were I plan to major in psychology and criminal justice. So that in the near future I can become a sheriff here in Ventura County.
