Summary:
Three days this week Tropical Storm Fay has march through Florida. There has been alot of flooding specially along the Atlantic coast. Water has reach depths of 5 feet in some neighborhoods. This has forced residents to walk in floodwaters, driving alligators and snakes out of their habitats and into streets. People in flooded parts were warned to keep watch for the wildlife. Two alligators were captured in residential neighborhoods and several others spotted. Storm Fay is just the fourth storm in history to make landfall as a tropical storm three times. The Florida Gov. asked the Bush administration to declare a federal disaster in the region to help with the storm's costs. Storm Fay also hit southern Georgia. In Florida no deaths have been reported. But Fay was responsible for 20 deaths in the Carribean. For some residents their mood was alot brighter today, because the sun began to dry out some of the flooded parts.
Comments/Opinion
This article was good but I didnt like what the storm did for peoples lifes. Alot of people's houses were destroyed because of the flooding that took part. I hope the storm goes away so the people could get help and move on with their lifes. The wildlife really surprised me, I would be shocked if I saw an alligator next to me, knowing that it could eat me. Im greatfull that I live in Ventura, California where the weather is great.
