It was a beautiful sunny day at the beach. We went to the beach for surfing. There were many Balinese children playing in the water. We had our own boogie boards that we bought in a nice surf shop in my town. It was made by a famous company, and I spent a couple of hundred dollars for it. Some children were surfing next to us. I thought to myself, “what a funny looking boogie board they used.” I got close to them and stared their board. Well, actually, it was not a boogie board at all. They used a piece of styrene foam instead of boogie board. They took turns playing with their “boogie board”, sometimes fighting. So, we allowed to them to use our boogie board and play together. They were so friendly and charming. The sparkle of hope in their eyes left me with a strong impression.
