Meli's Homework for Friday

A student shot his 15 year old classmate in high school this thursday. Many other students were left in shock as they saw the victim hold his chest and fall to the ground. The police have identified the victim as Ryan McDonald, a sophomore who lived with his grandmother and had alopecia, a sickness that left him bald since he was three. Poor Ryan was the target of teasing since then. Jamar Siler shot Ryan around 8am at Central High School and was convicted about six minutes after the incident. This 15 year old "shooter" was charged with first degree murder and is going to be in a juvenile detention facility.

I think this Jamar Siler is crazy. It's really sad the fact that he just shot him. The article does not say why he shot Ryan, which is my question, but for whatever reason, I think Jamar could have handled it better. I wouldn't know what to do if I was the judge. The crime is serious but then again, he's still a boy. This story really shocked me, it reminds me of what happened at the junior high school in oxnard, E.O. Green. Kids nowadays have seen so many movies and have that bad example from their parents that they begin to build crazy ideas.
