Defining the Narrative Essay

A narrative essay is an essay where you tell a story from first person view. A narrative essay is normally a story that has happened to you but it is common to write one on something that happened to someone else. The essay should also have a plot, climax and an ending. The essay should make and support your point and use lots of precise detail about that point. Most people write these kinds of essays because the "Have to" for an assignment, but some people write narrative essays just to tell a story about something that happened to them or someone else.
