Meli's Best Paragraph as of now:

It was a cloudy day at our first club practice. We hadn’t played together as a team in over six months. Yadira, Eunice (aka “June”), Erika, Evelyn, Rico, Ady and I were attending Pacifica High School. Natalie, Sam and Nancy were at Rio Mesa High School while Ela was at Oxnard High School. Susie was at Buena High School, and Priscilla was over at Channel Islands. We felt excited and happy to be finally back. “Well I hope you guys had a great high school season! But I have to fill you girls in on something. I got a call from Leonardo Cuellar, and he wants us to have a few pre-olympic games against the U-17 Mexican girls’ soccer team. If we go, we leave in three days at 7am from LAX,” said Coach Agustin. “What?!” said Natalie, “we won’t be able to practice though.” Coach replied “It doesn’t matter Nat, you girls have the capacity and talent to compete with this team. I know you can do it, it’s an amazing experience that you shouldn’t miss.” So in the end, we accepted the challenge and were headed off to Mexico in three days which would be Friday morning, February 29.
