For each write up you need to write
title
author
date
place of publication

Then provide a few sentence summary of the article.

Then write a few sentences about what issues this article brings up.

Choose one of the articles you read for homework last night.

Write one paragraph where you summarize the overall, main argument that the writer is making.

Write a second paragraph where you extract (quote) some of the evidence the writer used when he made that argument.

My Opinion

Everybody has come up with very good ideas like immigration, abortion, drugs, gay marriage, Iraq war, torture etc. In my humble opinion if any topic other than the above ones deserves a debate that is " Climate Change". Our earth is getting warmer day by day and we are facing more natural disasters like Katrina or Gustav. Glaciers in North pole are melting and causing a threat to natural environment. Let's give a second thought to climate change. I am along with the class anyways:)

A Question for the Class

I am planning unit#2 right now and we are going to be writing and argumentative essay. We will read multiple articles about a specific issus and then we will write an argumentative essay. I would welcome any input you have about what the readings should be about. In the past I have done units on
